Blok nummer 5 van de mysteriequilt van Reiko Kato is inmiddels ook af.

Block 5 of the mysteriequilt of Reiko Kato is finished.

Vandaag naar een Highbee geweest bij Quiltmuis in Oosthuizen. Het was een zeer geslaagde dag met een leuke workshop. Goed verzorgd. Bezig geweest met het maken van een ei door middel van vlechttechniek.

Today I went for a Highbee at Quiltmuis in Oosthuizen. It was a succesfull day with a nice workshop. We were busy making an egg with stranding technics.

 

Deze week kwam het pakketje van de bom van april binnen. Direct maar aan de gang gegaan met het plakken.

This week the block of the month April arrived. I directly started preparing this block.

En omdat ik volgende week een lang weekend weg ga, ben ik ook maar verder gegaan met het voorbereiden van het laatste blok van Reiko Kato's mysteriequilt.

Next weekend I have a short holiday, that's why I went on with preparing the last block of Reiko Kato's mysteriequilt.

 

Was wel weer afkicken na het quiltweekend. Deze week is blok van de maand 3 afgekomen.

This week I have finished block of the month March.

En ik ben verder gegaan met Reiko Kato's mystery quilt. Blok nummer 4 is voorbereid.

And I continued with Reiko Kato's mysteryquilt. Block number 4 is prepared.

 

Dit weekend had ik quiltweekend in Ermelo. Mooie bosrijke omgeving. Heb zowel blok 3 als blok 4 van Reiko Kata afgekregen.

This weekend I had a quiltweekend in Ermelo. I finished block 3 and 4 from the Reiko Kato quilt.

 En bij de show en tell kon ik de top van La Passacaglia laten zien. Deze heb ik dit weekend ook gesandwiched.

Deze week druk bezig geweest met de voorbereiding voor het quiltweekend van volgende week. Wat neem ik mee en wat moet ik nog aanschaffen? Ik neem mee de mysteriequilt van Reiko Kato. Ik heb het blok alweer geplakt.

This week I have been busy to make the preperations for the quiltweekend next week. What will I put in my suitcase en what will I have to buy. I decided to work on the mysteriequilt of Reiko Kato. I already prepared the block.

En ik heb de tussenvulling en achtergrondstof voor La Passacaglia gekocht. Zodat ik deze kan sandwichen.

And I have bought the central layer and the background fabric for the La Passacaglia. I want to sandwich the quilt that weekend.

 

Deze week kreeg ik het pakketje van de Bom voor de maand maart binnen. Inmiddels is alles geplakt en bijna vastgezet.

This week I received the block of the month March. All the parts are glued on the fabric and almost sewed.

Voor de mysteryquilt van Reiko Kato heb ik biasband gemaakt. Dit deed ik voor de allereerste keer. Ik ben tevreden over het resultaat.

I had to make bias binding for the mysteryquilt of Reiko Kato. I have done this for the first time. I am pleased with the result.

 

Het blok van de maand februari is op tijd afgekomen.
