Dit weekend had ik quiltweekend in Ermelo. Mooie bosrijke omgeving. Heb zowel blok 3 als blok 4 van Reiko Kata afgekregen.

This weekend I had a quiltweekend in Ermelo. I finished block 3 and 4 from the Reiko Kato quilt.

 En bij de show en tell kon ik de top van La Passacaglia laten zien. Deze heb ik dit weekend ook gesandwiched.

And at the show and tell I showed the top of La Passacaglia. This weekend I have sandwiched the top.

 

Deze week druk bezig geweest met de voorbereiding voor het quiltweekend van volgende week. Wat neem ik mee en wat moet ik nog aanschaffen? Ik neem mee de mysteriequilt van Reiko Kato. Ik heb het blok alweer geplakt.

This week I have been busy to make the preperations for the quiltweekend next week. What will I put in my suitcase en what will I have to buy. I decided to work on the mysteriequilt of Reiko Kato. I already prepared the block.

En ik heb de tussenvulling en achtergrondstof voor La Passacaglia gekocht. Zodat ik deze kan sandwichen.

And I have bought the central layer and the background fabric for the La Passacaglia. I want to sandwich the quilt that weekend.

 

Deze week kreeg ik het pakketje van de Bom voor de maand maart binnen. Inmiddels is alles geplakt en bijna vastgezet.

This week I received the block of the month March. All the parts are glued on the fabric and almost sewed.

Voor de mysteryquilt van Reiko Kato heb ik biasband gemaakt. Dit deed ik voor de allereerste keer. Ik ben tevreden over het resultaat.

I had to make bias binding for the mysteryquilt of Reiko Kato. I have done this for the first time. I am pleased with the result.
